About the Artwork:Mother Bear takes a rest from her fishing to watch her young cub as he follows his instinct and his love of honey up a tree towards a tricky looking bee hive. Meanwhile, the fish are making a quick getaway up stream. The lovely big fish in the forefront of this painting was inspired by a magnificent fish in Alan Aldridges’ wonderful book ‘The Butterfly Ball & The Grasshopper’s Feast’.”
